Trailer Hire Near Me

Listing rules

Short version: list a real trailer or part, describe it honestly including its ATM, GTM and brake fitment, disclose money owing, price it yourself, deal directly with buyers or hirers. The rest below.

Welcome here

  • Trailers for sale across all categories: box, car carrier, enclosed/van, tipping, flat top, plant and machinery, boat, camper, horse float, tradesman/canopy and custom/specialty trailers
  • Trailers for hire, with an accurate day/weekend/week rate and bond stated up front
  • New and used trailer parts and spares: couplings, axles, suspension, brakes, lights, guards and running gear, with condition stated
  • Complete trailers and parts listed honestly, including known chassis damage, repairs or a non-roadworthy state
  • Dealers, manufacturers and hire operators, provided each listing is a real trailer or a real part at a real price

Not allowed

  • Misrepresenting a trailer's ATM, GTM, axle configuration or brake fitment. If the compliance plate says one thing, the ad says the same thing
  • Undisclosed finance or encumbrance. A trailer with money owing must not be advertised as unencumbered, and any known PPSR interest must be disclosed
  • Advertising a non-compliant or unroadworthy trailer as road-registrable without saying so. "Needs inspection", "unregistered" and "off-road/plant use only" are real, allowed statuses; hiding that status is not
  • Forged, altered or mismatched compliance plates, VINs or chassis numbers
  • Stolen trailers, or a trailer with its identity swapped or a VIN/chassis number altered to disguise its history
  • For hire listings: a rate or bond that isn't what you'll actually charge, or a trailer listed as available that isn't really bookable on the dates shown
  • Counterfeit branded parts, couplings or brake components sold as genuine
  • Weapons, chemicals, or anything unrelated to trailers and towing
  • Placeholder, joke or duplicate listings, and listings whose real purpose is advertising another business
  • A trailer or part defective in a way that makes it dangerous to tow or use (cracked chassis, compromised coupling or brakes) unless clearly disclosed

Moderation

Listings go live immediately and are reviewed after publication. Reported listings are checked first. A listing that breaks these rules is removed; a seller who repeatedly breaks them loses the account. Report anything that looks wrong with the report link on the listing - reports are anonymous to the seller.
